Children's Records

Another collection within a collection. I have amassed a great deal of kids records over the years. I have an entire uhaul box of LPs a lot of them from my own youth. In the last few years we have gathered a large amount of 45s, some of them in amazingly great condition. At one point we even scored the entire Lil' Miss Set which is currently hanging in our shop. Someday I will get around to posting those and the Star War, Dukes and Shortcakes types I have been dragging around since the 80s. For now check out these picture covers from the 40s, 50s and 60s.

Records Covers with Photos of People Enjoying Their Records

I've always had a thing for Records Covers with Photos of People Enjoying Their Records. I have quite the collection going now. It is just one of many sub-genres of the kind of Records I collect. It varies greatly and is of course in addition to the Records I collect for the Music. They are two different things entirely and should never be confused.

Busy Bust

Been putting out lots of killer records the last couple weeks. Void went to Houston with Craig on a truly insane buy. Oh the Envy. There has also been a lot of really great records coming in the shop. Some really great buys and things are moving out fast. This gets more fun everyday.

Record Store Day @Boom Wow Records!

April 21st was Record Store Day this Year and important to remember that it is Earth Day as well. We basically only stock Vintage Vinyl so this our way of recycling. We did bring in some of the RSD releases this year and has also sparked our interest in carrying more local releases and possibly some very select new titles as well. I kind of think of RSD in the same way as NYE. I drink every other day of the year so I don't really need and excuse or reason to get trashed on December 31st. It's still fun though and brings out some folks that might not have otherwise come out to celebrate so I'm all for it!!
